The Constitutional Court (AYM) decided that the rights of arrested journalist-writer Ahmet Altan and Nazlı Ilıcak were not violated. With this decree, the Constitutional Court has effectively approved the arrest of the journalists due to “terrorist activities.” In the application of Ali Bulaç, the high court decided that his “rights to personal freedom, security and freedom of expression” were violated.
